When Branden received his rare disease diagnosis—followed by his elder brother Jaden in the recent years—it was crushing. But together as a family, with the support of the community, we have picked ourselves up—again, and again—to start anew, right where we are. The Cycle of Life is a testament to the strength and resilience that resides within us all. It is a celebration of our ability to meet times of 'destruction' with powerful acts of creation that brings forth new life, new joy, and new wonder. Painted with the wheels of Branden’s wheelchair, the splashes of colours in this artwork captures Branden’s life in a wheelchair—colourful and fun! Come what may, a positive attitude keeps us going.
