Branden has SMA and I have Jansen's disease. We both have never met and because of COVID, we probably won't meet for a long time. But we both know what it is like to wait. Wait for the pain to go away... and of course wait for treatments while our body challenges us everyday. There are tears - the little boy, but there is also magic - the dog, the earth, the butterflies. In a beautiful landscape of nothingness, there are magical butterflies of hope waiting to burst from friendships that are born between two friends, walking similar journeys, worlds apart.

Arshaan has Jansen's metaphyseal chondrodysplasia, an ultra rare disease that prevents him from regulating calcium in his body. When he is not drawing or creating art, he enjoys time playing video games with his little brother, Jahan.
